In March 2013, IMG Fashion engaged jumpshot to project manage and deliver two key components of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia Spring/Summer 2013/14.
For the first time, all the on-site shows would be live streamed from the runway, to internet viewers around the world. Also for the first time, the event would be accessible to consumers, via a ‘live site’ set up in Martin Place featuring a bar from the famous team at Pelicano, and a huge screen live streaming all the shows from the main event at Carriageworks.
jumpshot’s role was to ensure the seamless delivery of the live streaming, and a great result for IMG at the live site. Responsibilities included co-ordinating video production and streaming suppliers to identify and overcome technical challenges, develop a live content plan and showflow, and integrate the live streaming with other elements of the event and its partner.
